HM and HMC
The HM and HMC silencers are absorption silencers for 2- and 4-stroke engines with requirements in the mid- and high-frequency range. The HM is suitable as both an exhaust and intake silencer; the HMC has an integrated spark arrestor that has been tested according to NEN-EN 1834-1 and is certified by a European Union Recognised Organisation (EU RO).
A Mutual Recognition Type Approval Certificate has been issued for this, which is recognized by many classification societies (such as DNV, BV and ABS). These types perform excellently on engines with four or more cylinders and, in combination with an L25 or L45, form a broadband acoustic system. Thanks to their favorable price/performance ratio and broad applicability, they are widely used in propulsion, bow thruster installations and emergency generators.
